THE INFAMOUS CURRY RECIPE
This will make enough for 4-6 people, depending on how hungry/greedy they are
Wash yer ‘ands. Then take an old battered wok (or big saucepan) with a little oil in it.

These are the ingredients
2 large onions, a pack of chicken breasts, a carton of mushrooms, a tub of single cream, proper or lazy garlic in a tube, tomato puree, 2 cans of tomatoes, ground coriander, curry powder,(the make I use is Alam Geer curry masala from any good Asian Super market) Garam masala, salt, and a can of lager.

Peel and dice the onions

Place in the wok with the garlic - I was lazy and used the stuff from the tube,
all proper cooks will now die in the sheer horror of using lazy garlic but I
like it.

Dice the chicken into about 1” cubes and add to the pan. Now wash yer ‘ands again as you’ve been handling raw chicken. Fry well together until all the chicken is cooked and there are no pink bits, and the onions and garlic have gone translucent.

Now wash and slice the mushrooms,

Add them to the pan you can see the chicken is cooked
Have a drink now while this lot cooks

Take 2 or 3 teaspoons of ground coriander and mix in to the chicken and mushrooms

Now blend the 2 cans of tomatoes and add this to the pan as well

Give it a good stir and add about a tablespoon of tomatoe puree. Simmer for
about 10 mins
Go on have another drink

Add about 3 heaped teaspoons of the curry powder and a level teaspoon of Garam Masala
Stir
well

Look I am having fun (you can tell by my face)

Remove from the heat and add the tub of single cream, mix it
in very well and then put it back on the heat to simmer for about another ten
minutes
It
should by now look like this
I use Basmati rice, about a cupful (this is enough to serve 2 people, double
quantity for 4). Always use double the quantity of water to
rice, so if you use one cup of rice its two of water and a little salt. Bring
it to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. When cooked rinse with boiling water
before serving.

Finished. Enjoy it
DISCLAIMER: If you poison yourself its not my fault, curry powder should be heated when cooked to at least 65c.
